Shadowing gives your student the opportunity to experience a day in the life of an Odyssey student.
What to Expect:

Arrival: Students arrive at 7:20 a.m.

Student Ambassador: Your student will be paired with a current Shadow Ambassador (a 9th-grade student or grade-level equivalent).

Student Perspective: Students can ask questions, learn about classes, and hear directly from a current student.

Daily Schedule: Your student will follow their ambassador’s class schedule and attend lunch with them.
Accuplacer Testing (if opting to do the same day):
- At 1:00 p.m., students who have not yet taken the Accuplacer will report to the attendance office for testing. The Accuplacer test is one of the requirements of applying to Odyssey.

The Accuplacer includes two tests including writing and math with each test taking approximately 45 minutes.
Pick-Up Time:

Please plan to pick up your student between 2:15 p.m. and 2:55 p.m.
Sign up for a Tour
Tours are scheduled in 30-minute time slots, though the length may vary depending on your questions. During your visit, you’ll have the opportunity to sit down with an administrator to learn how Odyssey works. We’ll explain what it looks like to earn an associate degree while in high school, provide a glimpse into classroom instruction, and walk you through the application process.
